StreakCircle helps you build streaks solo or with a circle. This policy covers the personal data involved and how we protect it.
1. Overview
This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. StreakCircle is in beta, so this document may change as the product evolves — we'll update the date above when it does.
2. Information we collect
Account details (name, email, avatar), the goals and focus sessions you log, your points, streaks, and circle activity, and basic usage and device information — including push notification tokens if you enable reminders.
3. How we use your information
To run your account, track your goals and streaks, power circle leaderboards and feeds, send the reminders you opt into, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-party services
We may use trusted third-party services for essential functions like analytics, crash reporting, and secure cloud hosting. These providers process your data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and must adhere to strict confidentiality obligations.
5. What your circle can see
When you join a circle, members can see your sessions, points, streaks, and freeze requests as part of shared accountability. Your solo data stays private and is archived — not shared — when you join, and restored if you leave.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request account and data deletion directly within the app settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, we remove your personal data, except where we're required to retain limited records by law.
7. Your choices & rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and turn notifications off at any time. Contact us and we'll help you exercise these rights.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe and to notify you if something goes wrong.
9. Children
StreakCircle isn't directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We don't knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Significant changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
